The XIV Travelling International Festival of Documentary Films on Human Rights Docudays UA started in October. This year, the most interesting documentary films about human rights will be seen by residents of more than 200 cities and towns of Ukraine.
The theme of this year’s festival is "Four Degrees" and is dedicated to the issue of climate change and environmental protection. Environmentalists predict: by the end of the century, the average temperature on Earth will rise by four degrees, which will provoke natural disasters on the planet. The festival offers the visitors to become a catalyst for changes and look at environmental issues from different perspectives – not only through cinema, but also through law awareness and human rights events, discussions, and eco-actions.
Regional partners of the Docudays UA in Transcarpathian region are the charity organization "Committee for Medical Aid in Transcarpathia" and Carpathian Human Rights Agency "Vested".
