Volovets district: a bus with athletes overturned on the Kyiv-Chop highway

Yesterday at 21:44, the rescue service received a report of a road accident on the 703rd km of the Kyiv-Chop highway, which is in the vicinity of the village of Latirka in Volovets district.

According to preliminary data, the driver of a bus Mercedes Irizar moving from Kyiv to Serbia and carrying 38 members of the Ukrainian sambo team lost control and rolled over into the ditch.

As a result of the accident, one of the passengers born in 1999, a resident of the city of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region was injured. He was hospitalized at the Volovets Central District Hospital.

Rescuers of the State Fire and Rescue Post of the village of N. Vorota were working at the scene.
