Yesterday, October 10, the police received a report of a traffic accident in Tyachiv. The investigators and operatives at the scene found out that the driver of a motorcycle, "Viper" was moving towards the city center in Tyachiv, drove to the oncoming lane and hit a truck "Tatra".
The 20-year-old motorcyclist, a resident of the village of Ruske Pole, died on the spot. The investigation department of the Transcarpathian regional police opened a criminal proceeding over the accident under Part 2 of Article 286 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Violation of traffic safety rules, which caused the death of the victim). The vehicles were taken to the impound lot of Tyachiv police station. The pre-trial investigation, during which all circumstances of the accident will be established, is underway.
