Today, a Ukrainian tried to transport a “criminal” cargo through the checkpoint “Tisa”

This morning, a 47-year-old resident of Chernivtsi in a minibus Mercedes-Benz tried to import a "criminal" cargo to the territory of Ukraine.

During the inspection, border guards found in the trunk of the vehicle 2 disassembled motorcycles. As it turned out later, there was a good reason the driver tried to carry motorcycles in this way. According to the Interpol database, one of them is listed as stolen in Italy a few days ago.

As a result of further inspection of the minibus, border guards also found 5 pistols and a crossbow.

Law enforcement officers informed representatives of the National Police about it and sent them a report of a criminal offense under Article 289 of the Criminal Code "Illegal appropriation of a vehicle" and Art. 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine "Illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives."
