Because of the African swine fever, checkpoints for inspection of vehicles have been set up at the entrance to Transcarpathia

Due to the outbreak of African swine fever in the village of Hrozno, Staryi Sambir district, Lviv region, the Main Directorate of the State Consumer Protection Service in Transcarpathian region together with the National Police have set up stationary posts in villages of Nyzhni Vorota and Uzhok to check vehicles for live pigs, products of animal origin.

In the case of detecting live animals or livestock products, vehicle owners will be required to provide relevant accompanying documents and veterinarian certificates.

Recall that the African swine fever continues to spread in Transcarpathia. Because of this disease, farmers suffer huge losses.
