Two residents of Uzhgorod and Perechyn districts, who are suspected of committing a series of thefts from churches, will be held in custody. Their third accomplice is under investigation and is currently being treated.
Yesterday, September 5, Perechyn District Court imposed a pretrial restraint on two residents of Uzhgorod and Perechyn districts, which are reasonably suspected of committing numerous thefts from churches in Transcarpathia. Both will be held in jail. Their third accomplice is currently in the hospital.
The detainees are charged with criminal acts under Part 3 of Art. 185 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (burglary).
The investigation in the case is ongoing. The police are establishing other crimes the men may have been involved in.
