At this year’s “Hutsul bryndzya”, a master class in korbach wielding will be demonstrated for the first time

This year, at the Hutsul bryndzya, the organizers of the festival will surprise guests with an original "Korbach-show", which will be held for the first time. Korbach is a whip for cattle grazing. Its sound spreads in the mountains for up to one and a half kilometers. The whip consists of a wooden handle and actual "korbach" – intertwined leather straps two or more meters long. Korbach is not just a whip, but also a sound instrument, a symbol and talisman of shepherds, who demonstrate their skills treating the clapping of korbach as an art of sound.

Guests of the festival will be able not only to watch the show, but also to take part in it – to try wielding Hutsul whip themselves. "Korbach-show" will be held on Sunday, September 3, in Rakhiv at the festival-fair "Hutsul bryndzya" at 10:00 on the square near the administrative building (Myr St., 1).
