Right now, starting from 19.00, the Uzhgorod Development Agency and the Third Age University at the NGO "Kolping Family of Uzhgorod" are holding a festive dance party on Teatralna square. Also, in addition to dancing, seniors of the UzhTAU will present poetry reciting and choral singing.
Elderly people of the city (50+) and anyone, who wants to have fun and dance, are invited!
An on the day before, Uzhgorod seniors were doing in recreational physical activities on the banks of the river.
Pulmonologist-rehabilitologist, specialist in physical education Lilia Sobran told about the importance of healthy nutrition and excercises, and also shared the stories of patients who feel fit even at the age of 80.
The event organizer is the municipal institution Uzhgorod Development Agency, headed by Marianna Sobran. According to her, the idea of such meetings appeared during the "City Workshop", so more health improvement events are planned to be held weekly.
Classes are absolutely free, so anyone can join, – the press service of Uzhgorod City Council reports.
