In Velyky Berezny district, a man was shot in his car, the murderer was promptly found (PHOTOS)

Officers of the Velyky Berezny Police Department together with the Criminal Investigation and the Police Investigation Department of Transcarpathia detained a suspect in the murder in the village of Stuzhytsia.

Yesterday, August 19, a resident of the village of Stuzhytsia of Velyky Berezny district called the police and reported the murder of his son. The investigative group of the Velyky Berezny police found at the scene the body of a 34-year-old man in the driver’s seat of a car. The victim had two bullet wounds: in the abdomen and chest. Seven casings were found at the scene, as well two holes in the windshield and a damaged door of the car.

Officers of the Velyky Berezny Police Department in conjunction with the Criminal Investigation Department and the Police Investigation Department in Transcarpathian region identified the person involved in the crime and found the suspect. It was a 59-year-old neighbor of the victim. The man shot his victim because of the hostile relationship with him.

The police started a criminal proceeding over the incident under Part 1 of Art. 115 of the Criminal Code, ie murder. The man involved in this crime has already been notified of being suspected; he was arrested in accordance with Article 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine.
