On Saturday, August 19, the traditional regional festival "Trembitas call to the Synevyr" will take place in Mizhhirya district. The folklore and ethnographic holiday will be held on the banks of the mountain lake of Synevyr. Transcarpathian customs and ceremonies, traditional folklore and local falvor will be presented at the festival. The program includes the exhibition and fair of folk crafts, ethnographic displays and performances of the best folk groups of Transcarpathia. Special guests of the festival will be People’s Artists of Ukraine – Ruslana Lyzhychko and Kateryna Buzhinska.
The festival starts in the village of Synevyrska Polyana at 14.00.
This year’s festival "Trembitas call to the Synevyr" will be held for the twelfth time. The festival on the shore of the Synevyr Lake is one of the most popular in Transcarpathia. Last year it was visited by almost 10 thousand tourists.
