At 5 checkpoints, Transcarpathian customs officers offer drinking water to travelers

Despite the anomalous heat, all crossing points of the Transcarpathian customs office are operating in normal mode. During the Saturday, August 5, the customs border within the area of the ​​customs office was crossed by more than 14 thousand vehicles, 98 buses, and more than 33 thousand citizens.

In the largest checkpoints – "Tisa", "Uzhgorod", "Luzhanka", "Dyakovo" and "Solotvyno" – customs officers installed coolers with drinking water for travelers.

– We are doing everything we can to allow citizens to cross the customs border as quickly and comfortably as possible. However, there are factors that we can not influence, such as anomalous heat and an increase in the number of travelers. I am asking all travelers and carriers to understand the situation and, if possible, plan their trips with the weather forecast, in particular the temperature, taken into account, – Stanislav Baluyev, the acting ead of the Transcarpathian customs office.
