A woman was robbed on Mynaiska street

Robbers, threatening a woman with physical violence, took her jewelry, passport, wallet, and phone. 
The police satrted an investigation and have already identified the robbers.

An Uzhgorod resident appealed to the Uzhgorod police. The woman reported that on August 1, about 1:30 am, on Mynaiska street, unknown persons had attacked her, thrown her to the ground and, threatening with physical violance, taken all the valuable things from her. The robbers took the jewelry, documents and a wallet with money.

During the inspection of the surrounding territory, law enforcement officers watched the video footage from the surveillance cameras and interviewed citizens.

As a result of fruitful work, law enforcement officers have identified the attackers. Those were Uzhgorod residents previously convicted of theft and robbery.

The police have opened criminal proceeding under Part 2 of Art. 186 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Robbery). One of the suspects has already been put in a temporary detention facility, the choice of pretrial restraint against the other one is being decided. The investigation continues.
