Peremoha Street in Uzhgorod is being repaired (PHOTOS)

Yesterday and today, Uzhgorod Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv was on Peremoha Street, where major repair is being performed, talked with representatives of the contractor – "Olexandria Capital" LLC from Kyiv. This enterprise won the bids, which were conducted through the ProZorro system, the cost of works is 5.7 million hryvnia.

Bohdan Andriyiv emphasized that they should employ more workers, because this is one of the key and transport arteries of the city, and work on weekends. The repairs must not be delayed. The city authorities fulfill their obligations in full, the payments are made on without delays, so they are expecting the same responsible attitude to work from the contractor.

New asphalt covering will stretch from Lehotsky street to the village of Storozhnytsia.

Now the employees of the contractor company are conducting preparatory work: remove the stone paving, that remains on this section of Peremoha Street, curbs, load them on trucks and take to the territory of the communal enterprise KATP for storage. The cobblestones are in good condition and later will be used for the arrangement of Petofi Square.

Repairs will be also be performed on the ring road of Peremoha-Babyak-Lehotsky streets, and the project-estimate documentation for major repair of the rest of Peremoha street is being developed, – Uzhgorod City Council informs
