In the village of Barvinok in Uzhgorod district, policemen seized from a resident of the village of Rativsi ammunition, which he tried to sell. Criminal proceeding over the incident has been opened.
Yesterday, July 25, a 50-year-old resident of the village of Rativtsi reported to the police that in the village of Barvinok a man had offered him to buy ammunition.
The investigative team, that arrived at the scene, detained a 48-year-old resident of the village of Rativtsi. The man tried to sell 20 corrosion-covered cartridges of 7.62 mm caliber, which, as he said, he had found at a landfill. The ammunition was seized and sent for examination. Criminal proceeding has been opened under Article 263 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (Illegal use of weapons, ammunition or explosives). Investigators are finding out the circumstances of the case.
