“Zakarpattyaoblenergo” commented on the tragedy in Mukachevo

On Saturday, July 22, in Mukachevo, two minors were injured and their father was killed due to electric shock.

As it turned out after the inspection of the site by the specialists of the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC, the incident occurred due to failure to observe the safety rules during the performance of electrical works.

In particular, during the construction work, an electric cable feeding one of the houses on Shevchenko street needed to be replaced. The owner decided to do this without involving specialists who are authorised to perform such works. As a result, the work was carried out without complying with the existing requirements of the Safety Rules, and residents of a neighboring building were injured as a result.

With this in mind, the administration of the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC once again emphasizes: all works on the electrical grids should be carried out by specialists!!!
