Photos of the destruction of a building in the historic city center on Voloshin street – a building with a unique façade and an old inscription on it – were posted by designer and advocate of the preservation of the city historical and architectural heritage Oleg Olashyn.
He appealed to the chief architect of the city Oleg Borshovsky about the mindless destruction of the house:
"Non-feasance of the architecture department of Uzhgorod city council in all its glory.
Mr. Oleg Borshovsky, do you really think that what is happening in the city is normal?
PS This is a rhetorical question, you do not have to answer. Although you never respond to posts where you’re tagged anyway. I understand, it is very comfortable to keep your head in the sand – both in Facebook and in the matters of the protection of cultural heritage."
So, will the chief architect of Uzhgorod respond?
