Today, June 6, Uzhgorod joined the nationawide campaign in support of the health care reform "Hour of Death", the UNN reports.
Thus, a few dozen activists in white coats and Uzhgorod residents gathered on Narodna Square, in front of the building of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
During the campaign, the participants arranged a kind of a flashmob, showing the difference between the old and the new medical systems. The people were divided into two groups – one stood in the line with number plates to "old" doctors, the other one "came to a doctor", with whom an appropriate agreement has been concluded.
Also, the participants of the campaign urged MPs from Transcarpathia to vote in the Parliament for the bills on the health care reform, and wrote a letter to the head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration Hennadiy Moskal asking for support. According to the press service of the RSA, currently the letter has been registered at the RSA.
At the end of the campaign, the participants shot a short video, in which citizens could express their views and suggestions on the modernization of the health sector in Ukraine.
