Today, May 29, there was another hearing in the high-profile "Mukachevo case" or the "case of the shooting on July 11th."
As was announced earlier, this hearing was not only interesting, but also brought special news.
Recall that at the last hearing the court decided that there was no evidence on charges of committing a terrorist act, also the prosecutors themselves said that there was no evidence on charges of banditry either, and those were the most serious articles of the prosecution. Thus, the defense could now apply for a change of the pretrial restraint.
And the main news of the day is that the judge did grant the motion of the lawyer Roman Bukhtoyarov and released the defendants on bail. Volodymyr Burcha, Serhiy Deyak, Rodion Gorbenko, and Roman Munchaka were released from custody in the courtroom.
The next hearing in the "Mukachevo case" will be held on 8 and 9 of June.
