Representatives of the Main Office of the National Police in Transcarpathian region will visit Donetsk region – the frontline cities of Mariupol and Maryinka, the department of communication of Transcarpathian regional police informs.
Today, May 28, in the morning, a bus with Transcarpathian police officers left from Uzhgorod. The delegation is headed by the head of the National Police in Transcarpathian region, police colonel Roman Stefanyshyn. The orchestra of Transcarpathian police and the football team went to the Donbas.
Transcarpathians will spend a few days in Donetsk region. The program includes, in particular, joint concerts of police orchestras of Transcarpathian and Donetsk regions and football competitions.
The trip was organized within the project "East and West Together", which was launched in 2015, by the current head of the National Police of Ukraine Serhiy Knyazev. This spring, children from Donetsk region rested in Transcarpathia under this project. Donetsk policemen played a friendly football match against Transcarpathian colleagues, and the brass bands of the two offices gave joint concerts in Uzhgorod and Khust.
