Anatoliy Herey is competing at the fencing World Cup in Paris

These days, May 12-14, the fencing World Cup is taking place in Paris. Ukrainian fencers will compete in individual and team competitions.

In the individual events, 10 Ukrainian fencers started competing: Bohdan Nikishin,Yevhen Myrhorodsky, Igor Reyzlin, Maxim Khvorost, Ian Sych, Yuriy Taranenko, Volodymyr Stankevich, Roman Svichkar, Yevhen Makienko and our countryman Anatoliy Herey. 

Yesterday, May 12, Uzhgorod fencer defeated Austrian Florian Schmid (15:13), Japanese Masaru Yamada (15:14) and Frenchman Lilian Nguefack (15:8). Today, the competition began with the TAB 64 round (top 64 athletes), where Anatoliy defeated the third in the world ranking Korean Park Kyoungdoo – 15:6.

The competition continues, the next duel is at 14.00, on the green carpet.
