In Perechyn, a drying chamber was burning (PHOTOS)

On April 23, at 15:50, the Rescue Service of Perechyn district received a report about the fire at the plant, which specializes in the manufacture of charcoal and is located on Budivelnyky street in Perechyn.

A drying chamber with a total volume of 64 cubic meters was burning.

Two crews of the 1st State Fire and Rescue Unit were sent at the scene to eliminate the fire.

At 16:10, the fire was localized, and at 16:44 – eliminated completely. Thanks to the efficiency of the fire crews and the employees of the company, the drying chamber and equipment, as well as about 20 cubic meters of wood were rescued from destruction.

The material damage is being established, because the fire destroyed about 8 cubic meters of wood, and damaged metal structures of the drying chamber and about 4 cubic meters of wood that was in containers.

The cause of the fire is to be found out by the police.
