Cycling Festival “Uzhgorod TOUR OREN-2017” intends to make Uzhgorod residents more mobile (Announcement)

On May 6-7, 2017, within the annual city festival "Sakura Fest-2017", the cycling festival "Uzhgorod-OREN TOUR 2017" will be held in Uzhgorod. It will include:

– amateur cycling competition "Uzhgorod TOUR OREN" – May 6, Bozdosh park, start at 11.00.

Categories: men-beginners, men-experts, and women.

Registration and provisions: 

– City bike ride for everybody around the Uzh river – May 6, Teatralna Sq. Start at 18.00.   No pre-registration – just be on Teatralna Square at 18.00 with a bike and helmet.

– Children race "Tour de Uzh" – May 7, Bozdosh park, start at 11.00. Separately for boys and girls in the following categories: individual race from 2 to 6 years old; figure riding from 7 to 14 years old; cross-country from 7 to 14 years old.

Registration and provisions on the site: 

The total prize fund is more than 15,000 UAH.

This festival aims to promote good mood and active recreation; tourism opportunities in the city; raising the issue of the development of cycling infrastructure and cycling culture in the city; popularization of the so-called mobility.
