Sakura, wine and delicacies: Uzhgorod residents are invited to the festival “Sakura Wine” (Announcement)

The festival "Sakura Wine" starts on Friday, April 21. The festival will begin at 14:00 with a planting of sakura trees in the Heroes of the Heaven’s Hundred Park and will last all three days of the weekend – until the evening of Sunday, April 23.
"Sakura Wine" will be taking place in the cellars, upper halls and outdoor areas of the historical and architectural complex "Owl’s Nest."
Winemakers will hold a presentation and tasting of their products.
The festival also will feature cheeses, meat products, fish, seafood and hot dishes. Numerous workshops and lectures are also scheduled.
What food is worth a try at the festival?

EMIGRAND restobar
Àrt hotel & restobar "EMIGRAND" is a metaphorical image of Andy Warhol, the founder of Pop Art. It was his art that inspired this unique project. The complex consists of a hotel and a restobar. The hotel is in the style of pop art, on the roof there is a huge yellow banana from the cover of the first album of the band "Velvet Underground" produced by Warhol.
Restobar "EMIGRAND" is a participant of the festival, so all guests of the festival will have the opportunity to taste the dishes of the first Transcarpathian concept restaurant in Uzhgorod. The menu incluses 4 world cuisines – Ukrainian, Jewish, Italian and American. We recommend you to try Warhol’s favorite food – Campbell’s tomato soup and burgers.
Ukrainian Fish
Here you will find the largest selection of fish and seafood in Transcarpathia and at the festival "Sakura Wine".
Fish boutique "Ukrainian fish" is the largest fish outlet in Uzhgorod with a wide range of fish and seafood. Here, Uzhgorod residents will be able to buy both live and chilled, dried, smoked, salted and frozen fish.
At the festival, there will be assorted fish, eggs and plenty of seafood: oysters, brine, mussels.
Cimborák Ungvár
Hungarian cuisine. True masters of their craft "Cimborák Ungvár" will be feeding the guests.
In 2011 the company of friends came together to participate in the barbecue festival and called the team "CIMBORAK." After that, they have participated in several more culinary festivals.   They have different professions and vocations, but are united by their love of art and cooking. They donate most of the money earned for charity.
You will be able to taste authentic bograch and flavorful entrees from "CIMBORAK" on April 21 in the "Owl’s Nest."
