Comprehensive cycling event "Uzhgorod Tour Open" will be held in Uzhgorod, on May 6-7 during the "Sakura Fest". According to the head of the cycling club "Leader" Mykola Schadey, the organizer of the "Uzhgorod Tour Open", there will be mountain bike competitions for men and women – both experienced and beginners. There is a prize fund of 20,000 UAH for the top 6 participants.
On Saturday, May 6, there will be a bike ride that starts from Teatralna Square along Nezalezhnist embankment to the suspension bridge in the Bozdosh park and back. For cycling fans, there will be a mass bike ride to draw attention to cycling, which is becoming increasingly popular in Uzhgorod, and the possibility of including the regional center of Transcarpathia (via Tokai) to the cycling route that runs through the European Union.
On May 7, together with the organizers of the "Maisya fest", they will conduct a child cycling race "Tour de Uzh" in the Bozdosh park.
Those, who want to participate, are asked to get registered in advance.
