The head of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration asked the writer Oksana Zabuzhko to contact the Security Service of Ukraine and officially report on all the scenarios of destabilization in the region, which she is telling about in the media.
– The person, who had not been in Transcarpathia for more than twenty years, is telling reporters all kinds of horror stories – Hennadiy Moskal says. – For example, that "Transcarpathia was being prepared for Orban just like Donbass was being prepared for Putin", that "the money has been allocated, the machine is running, the wheels are spinning", that "separatization of Transcarpathia is a technology", that in Beregovo district "there are plaques to Hungarians literally on every house", and other nonsense. If Ms. Zabuzhko has information, that there was a plan of separation of Transcarpathian from Ukraine, let her tell the competent authorities at the central level. Because neither the regional state administration, nor the security forces in the region know about it, but, according to the writer, they just dream about waking up as a part of Hungary.
How can a person, who know nothing about Transcarpathia, spread all sorts of nonsense about it and present us as separatists or traitors? If she does not understand how people live for centuries in a multicultural region, at least she could have a rudimentary conscience!
