Transcarpathia is the land of incredible landscapes, unique flavor and tourist attractions. And, unfortunately, garbage.
Scenic Khust and Mizhhirya districts are no exception in this regard. Mountain rivers, steep slopes and spring nature are certainly beautiful. But people and mismanagement add a spoon of tar in this barrel of honey. Thus, the area near the Vilshany reservoir and the reservoir itself please with spring flowers and upset with piles of garbage at the same time. Beauty and ugliness are next to each other here.
It is unacceptable situation for the region, which wants to be a tourist spot and really can boast many beautiful and interesting places. If only there was appropriate approach and care too…
