State Border Guard Service of Ukraine takes regular measures for protection of the state border. In particular, the Interpol database is used at checkpoints to identify people and vehicles that are in the international wanted list.
Yesterday, in the checkpoint "Solotvyno", border guards of the Mukachevo Detachment stopped a Romanian citizen who was wanted. During the document check, it turned out that he was recorded in the Interpol database. During the inquiries, it was found out that the man was wanted by the police in Romania for smuggling. The detainee was handed over to representatives of the National Police.
