According to the Transcarpathian Hydrometeorology Centre, on March 10, on the highlands of Transcarpathian region, the III (significant) level of avalanche hazard remains.
Due to the cold snap, on 11-12 of March, II (moderate) level of avalanche hazard is expected.
In this regard, in order to prevent emergency situations related to getting lost in the mountains and avalanches, the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region aks to citizens to refrain from going to the mountains until the synoptic situation improves and to follow the advice of rescuers.
