Officers of Velyky Berezny police together with local prosecutors conducted two searches in establishments that were providing gambling services in the district center.
At night, on February 19, officers of Velyky Berezny police together with prosecutors raided establishments engaged in gambling business in the district center. As a result of the raid, they seized 11 computers, that provided access to the games, and 10,000 UAH derived from illegal activities.
The police are taking measures to identify the persons involved in illegal activities in the sphere of illegal gambling service provision.
Criminal proceeding over the incident was initiated under Art. 203-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, ie gambling.
This offense is punishable by a fine of ten thousand to forty thousand untaxed minimum incomes with confiscation of gambling equipment.
