Cones, that can cure even cancer, are gathered in Transcarpathia (PHOTOS)

Few people know that the price of 100 grams of cedar seed starts at $ 200, because it is not so easy to get these "gold" seeds.

Only in the Brustury forestry, that is located in Transcarpathian region, there is a cedar reserve with 500-year-old trees that have been nurtured by several generations of foresters.

Forester of the Kedrynske forestry Vasyl Zolotar says:

"This year, we had a small yield compared to previous years – just two tons of cones. And after final processing, we will get about 2% of the yield. Two years ago, we managed to get 350 kg of seeds because of bountiful spruce harvest. Forest protection workers harvested cedar seeds too. We keep cones on the borders of the forestries. We keep them where we gather them. During one shift, we process 150 kilograms of cones."

  Cedar is a beauty and pride of Carpathian forests! However, in order to plant it, one should be very careful so as not to damage the roots, and it should be planted at altitudes above 1,000 meters. Foresters take care of the cedar, because its seeds can cure even cancer.
