Transcarpathia was the only Ukrainian region represented at the Czech tourism exhibition

Tourism industry of Transcarpathia was presented at the Regiontour exhibition in Brno. We are the only region that represented Ukraine at the Czech tourism exhibition this year, the statement posted on the page of the Tourism Department of the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration on Facebook reads. 

"Czechs are interested in Transcarpathia very much, – the director of the Department of Economic Development and Trade of the Regional State Administration Denys Man said. And not only for nostalgic tourism, as one might think, but primarily because our tourism products are very diverse and multifaceted. At the stand, we invited to rest in the Carpathians, which are perhaps the most popular.

But most visitors were looking for materials from Kolochava. Mizhhirya district historically and culturally has long been attracting Czech tourists. Ski slopes of Transcarpathia, Chornohora ridge, wooden churches, rural tourism and our other offers presented during numerous presentations were also popular."

Denys Man invited Czech colleagues to the presentation "Czech tourism products" and to participate in the exhibition "TourEuroCenter Transcarpathia 2017". 

It should be noted that it was the second time Transcarpathia was presented at the Regiontour exhibition – last year stand Ukrainian stand also had a major success. The nearest plans are to visit the traditional exhibition in Kyiv (UITT) and the exhibition in Hungary, which will take place in March.
