On January 16, in the village of Pavlovo in Svalyava district, a 51-year-old man, after a quarrel with his wife, stabbed her in the chest with a knife. The 48-year-old woman died from the injuries. Criminal proceeding over this fact has been opened.
Yesterday, January 16, around 11 pm, a doctor of Svalyava Central District Hospital reported that an ambulance had delivered to the hospital the body of a 48-year-old woman with a knife wound to the chest.
The investigative team found out that the fatal injury had been inflicted by the woman’s 51-year-old husband, a resident of the village of Pavlovo. According to the detainee, in the evening, a quarrel arose between him and his wife. Enraged, he grabbed a knife and stabbed her in the chest. The woman died from the stab wound.
The man was arrested.
