According to folk customs, the preparations for Christmas would begin on the day of St. Nicholas. So, Uzhgorod Skansen invites adults and children to learn about folk traditions and to begin preparations for one of the biggest holiday. Come to the museum workshops, learn to make Christmas didukh and sing carols.
The workshops will be held on Sunday, December 25:
12.00 – Master-class on making of didukh – a symbol of prosperity throughout the year. All participants will have an opportunity to make their own didukh. The master class will be conducted by Tetyana Kohutych.
14.00 – Master class on Christmas ceremonies and caroling.
A good opportunity to prepare for the annual museum festival "Carols in the old village."
The price of participation in each of the master classes is 50 UAH. All proceeds will be donated to the Movement to support Transcarpathian soldiers.
