From 9 to 14 of December, the annual marathon to write letters to Amnesty International will be held in Uzhgorod. The partners of this year’s Marathon are Docudays UA in Uzhgorod, the Regional Scientific Library, Queer Home Uzhhorod and the Charity Foundation "Council of Life."
The events will be held on 9 and 10 of December, starting from 18:30 at the shows of Docudays UA in Uzhgorod (Wine Cellar "Owl’s Nest" Rakoczy st., 2). Then, they continue on December 13 in the Transcarpathian Regional Scientific Library. Svoboda Ave., 16.
The admission is free. Everyone is invited. The more letters written, the closer the goal – justice for prisoners.
The campaign is dedicated to the Day of Human Rights (December 10) and is held in more than 200 countries. Every year, thanks to the Marathon, unjustly convicted persons are freed, repressive laws are changed, and victims of human rights violations receive help.
