On December 2, at 19:00, a crew of Uzhgorod patrol police received a report of an accident on Sobranetska street, the press service of the Patrol Police in Uzhgorod and Mukachevo informs.
Arriving at the scene, the police found a BMW without license plates that had collided with a tractor, carrying out repair work. The driver of the "BMW" was gone.
After some time, a woman – the owner of the car arrived at the scene and provided necessary documents for the car. The woman claimed that it was her who had committed the collision while driving, although eyewitnesses said that it was a man driving.
During the conversation with the police, the woman failed to give clears answers to the questions about the accident and to explain the whereabouts of her husband.
There were no signs of intoxication. After the policemen drew up necessary documents, the owner took the car.
The tractor was not damaged and the workers on the street were not injuried.
At the time, the information about the person, who allegedly was actually driving the car at the time of the accident, was already posted in social networks. The man was captured in photos and videos by eyewitnesses.
