For personal contribution to the development of national culture and art, significant creative achievements and professional excellence, on the occasion of the professional holiday, the President Petro Poroshenko has awarded workers of culture and folk art masters.
Among the awardees, there are four Transcarpathians. Specifically, actress of the Transcarpathian Regional Academic Puppet Theater Ella Grigorieva was awarded the honorary title "Honored Artist of Ukraine".
Teacher of Uzhgorod State Musical College Marianna Sokach and the head of folk amateur group "Chynadiyka" of the Chynadiyevo village House of Culture in Mukachevo district Olga Halyavko were awarded the honorary title "Honored Worker of Culture of Ukraine."
The title of "Honored Artist of Ukraine" was granted to Transcarpathian sculptor Bohdan Korzh and painter, a member of the creative union of professional artists of Transcarpathia Vitaliy Slobodsky.
