An exhibition of works by members of the sculpture section of the Transcarpathian organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine opened in the "Uzhgorod" gallery. The reporting exhibition was timed to the 30th anniversary of the section. Masters from Khust, Mukachevo and Uzhgorod presented in the gallery monuments and sculptures made of wood, bronze, metal and ceramics. Also, the photographs of big monuments that adorn not only of the squares of the region and the country, but also beyond.
"The sculpture forms the worldview – the head of the section Vasyl Olashyn stressed – It is an exterior art, therefore a lot of people see it."
The sculpture section was the first of the sections that were opened at the Transcarpathian organization of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine. Now it includes 10 talented artists.
The exhibition in the "Uzhgorod" gallery will last for two weeks.
