Heavy rain, that swept over Transcarpathia, has finally stopped

Due to bad weather, in the city of Perechyn, 8 wells that supply drinking water to the city were flooded. As a result, over 5000 people ended up without water supply, the State Emergencies Service informs. In Mizhhirya district, the pavement of the roads of local importance with a total length of 1,410 m is partially washed out.   In Irshava, Svalyava, Volovets, Mukachevo districts and in the city of Uzhgorod, the downpour flooded homes and yards. Rescuers pumped out about 6,000 cubic meters of water. In total, 41 vehicles and 161 people were employed. As of the morning of November 8, rain has stopped, the water level began to drop.
