The main prize of the Open National Festival-Competition of Choreographic Art named after N. Skorulska and the first place in the category "Folk Dance" went to the exemplary children’s dance ensemble from Uzhgorod "Veselka". This was announced on her page on Facebook by the head of the ensemble Lyudmila Petretska: "Hooray!!!! We won the Grand Prix!!!! And the 1 place in the category "Folk dance"!!!".
For information: Open National Choreographic Assembly named after Natalia Skorulska, during which the competition was held, took place in Zhytomyr for the second time.
The Assembly is dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the ballet "Forest Song" by Mykola Skorulskyi and the 145th anniversary of Lesya Ukrainka, and the creative activities of Zhytomyr natives – Mykhailo and Natalia Skorulskyi.
