Transcarpathians are clearing foreign cars more often

Between January and October this year, the Transcarpathian customs office transferred to the state budget UAH 2.4 billion, which is UAH 241.3 million or 11% more than in the same period of 2015.

In particular, in October 2016, Transcarpathian customs officials transferred to the general fund of the State Budget of Ukraine UAH 311 million of taxes. 

It should be noted that the main budget-forming goods during October 2016 were: passenger cars (customs clearance brought UAH 47.21 million to the budget); AOI machines (UAH 20.88 million); bodies (UAH 17.45 million); tractors (UAH 13.57 million); motor vehicles (UAH 11.06 million); washing machines (UAH 10.88 million); parts and equipment for motor vehicles (UAH 8.99 million); electric water heaters (UAH 8.07 million); diodes, transistors (UAH 7.98 million); printing equipment (UAH 6.71 million) and others.

The volume of car imports has significantly increased after August 1, 2016, the date of entry into force of the Law of Ukraine on stimulation of the market of used vehicles. Thus, between August and October this year, 315 such vehicles were imported into the customs territory of Ukraine, or 87% of total number of passenger cars imported by citizens since the beginning of the year.
