On Friday, October 28, in Uzhgorod, there will be the laying of the first stone for the construction of the sports and rehabilitation center for disabled persons with lesions of the musculoskeletal system and participants of the anti-terrorist operation.
Recall that the construction of this facility in the regional center was initiated by the Transcarpathian Regional Branch of the Ukrainian Federation of Sports for Disabled with Lesions of the Musculoskeletal System.
By the end of 2019, they plan to build a hostel for disabled, gym, massage and other rehabilitation rooms.
The sports and rehabilitation center will help to ensure appropriate conditions for sports (volleyball, basketball, table tennis, weightlifting and fencing) for people with disabilities and disabled participants of the ATO.
This year, UAH 3.5 million was allocated from the regional and municipal budgets, as well as from the State Fund for Regional Development for the construction of the sports rehabilitation center.
The ceremonial laying of the first stone for the construction of the sports and rehabilitation center and a capsule with a message to future generations will be held at 13.00 at Tykhy Street, 13b.
