On Tuesday, October 18, at 19.00, the Transcarpathian Regional Ukrainian Drama Theater opens the 71st theatrical season.
The last jubilee year was eventful. They produced six premieres. Audience saw the play "A good summer in Paris…" about Transcarpathian artist Adalbert Erdelyi, cheerful "Good Soldier Svejk", children’s fairy tale "The Nutcracker", the concert for the 70th anniversary of the theater, chamber dama "Heir" and "Orpheus and Eurydice". And most importantly, they opened the small stage, which Uzhgorod audience were expecting for so long.
The 71st theatrical season will be opened with a new premiere – "Hamlet" by William Shakespeare. It is directed by Yaroslav Helyas from Kyiv, the art director is Oleksandr Sydoruk from Uzhgorod. Almost the entire troupe is involved in the production.
Before the show, at 18.00, there will be the meeting of journalists with the cast and crew.
"Hamlet" will be shown also on Wednesday, October 19 and Sunday, October 23.
