The Rescue Service "101" was reported that on the Krachunyeska meadows of the Svydovets ridge, in Rakhiv district, 4 tourists, including 2 children, had gotten lost. As it turned out, it was a family, who had come to rest to the Ukrainian Carpathians from the city of Zaporizhia: a husband and a wife born in 1979, their 12-year-old son and 7-year-old daughter. During the hike, they got lost because of a bad weather.
Yasinya mountain search and rescue department consisting of 3 men and 4 civil rescuers of the tourist complex Dragobrat were engaged for the search and rescue operation.
The lost family were found and delivered to their camp. They did not need medical assistance.
The State Emergencies Service of Ukraine Office in Transcarpathian region appeals to tourists: never go to the mountains in poor weather conditions.
Dear parents! Before taking children hiking to the mountains consider the dangers they could be exposed to there.
Before going to the mountains, be sure to get registered at the nearest mountain search and rescue department and get advice from rescuers.
