In Transcarpathia, border guards detained a Croatian, who was wanted internationally

Yesterday, a citizen of Croatia, who was wanted, was detained by border guards of the Chop detachment at the checkpoint "Tisa".

Thus, while leaving Ukraine, during the passport control, the man presented a certificate of return and explained that the validity term of his passport had expired. However, during the check, it was found out that the man was in the Interpol database. As a result, border guards detained the man and informed interacting agencies. During inquiries, it was found out that the Croatian citizen was wanted by the police in Germany.

Currently, the detainee was handed over to representatives of the National
Police in Transcarpathian region.
