Heavy rains and frost are expected in Transcarpathia

According to the Transcarpathian Hydrometeorology Center, on October 4, during the day, heavy, sometimes very heavy rains, some thunderstorms are expected in most of the region. Sometimes, strong squally wind of 15-20 m / s, in the highlands of the Carpathians – up to 25 m / s.

From 5 to 7 of October, in the mountainous areas of Transcarpathian region, 0 … 5 ° C frosts will be observed on the ground and sometimes in the air.

Given this, the Office of the State Emergencies Service of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region urges citizens to observe basic safety rules, especially while being outside. Avoid walking under spreading trees, and stay away from billboards and power lines, since wind gusts may cause damage.

You should be especially careful during a storm, as this natural phenomenon is very dangerous and can cause emergencies.
