“Zakarpattyaoblenergo” asks citizens to be careful when using electric heaters

With the onset of autumn and winter, the number of fires due to violation of the rules of operation of electrical appliances, especially electric heaters, increases. This period accounts for 70 percent of deaths in fires.

In this regard, we are warning and reminding that the use of homemade, uncertified electric heating devices for heating houses, flats and so on is strictly prohibited. Do not use faulty switches, sockets, plugs and other electrical appliances. Do not use electrical appliances that cause wires to heat and melt insulation. Arrangement of internal electricity distribution networks and connection of electrical appliances must be performed in accordance with the requirements of the "Rules for Electrical Installation." Violation of these requirements can lead to fire, including loss of life.
