Border guards deny the information about the detention of bribe-takers at the checkpoint “Tisa”

Yesterday, it was announced that at the checkpoint "Tisa", officers of the Security Service of Ukraine and the Prosecutor’s Office of Uzhgorod district detained border guards and customs officials for bribery.

Shortly, after the publication of the news, the press service of the SFS of Ukraine in Transcarpathian region sent a letter denying this information.

The press service of the Chop border guard detachment also denies this information: "During the searches, no violation in the actions of border guards was found. No representative of the Border Guard Service was notified of being suspected of misconduct. The information in the media about the detention of a border guard service officer for bribery is untrue."
