Social networks are full of congratulations to educators on the Teacher’s Day. The Mayor Bohdan Andriyiv congratulated Uzhgorod educators on Facebook.
"Dear teachers! Let me congratulate you on the Day of Education Worker! Your profession is one of the most important, because you form the future of Ukraine, because versatility of the younger generation, their beliefs, worldview, moral character and values depend of your work. So, on this day, I wish you success, energy and patience, health, family comfort and all the best. Happy holiday!"
Some of the heroes of the occasion thank the mayor for the kind words, but also note that "…Uzhgorod is possibly the only city, where no teacher has received bonus, in contrast to other districts of Transcarpathia".
