The Vodokanal of Uzhgorod reported that interruptions of water supply, which occurred last night in the central part of the city, were caused by a fault in the transformer that provides power for the pump-filtration plant №1, which supplies water to the central part of Uzhgorod.
The problem was temporarily solved. Today, emergency service specialists of the "Zakarpattyaoblenergo" PJSC will continue working on it.
In this regard, temporarily, for the duration of the works, water supply to the central (old) part of the city, which is supplied with water from the pump-filtration plant №1, will be suspended.
Approximately, the work will last from 13:30 to 15:30. Then, operation of the pump-filtration plant №1 will be resumed.
