In Uzhgorod, two robbers, who had attacked a pensioner, were detained in hot pursuit

Yesterday afternoon, a 60-year-old resident of Uzhgorod reported to the police that a few minutes before that, near the sports complex "Yunist", unknown persons had inflicted him bodily harm and then taken away bicycle wheels. 

Employees of criminal police together with officers of Uzhgorod protection police within minutes tracked down the attackers. Those were two previously convicted residents of Uzhgorod aged 24 and 28 years. The police officers seized from them the stolen wheels belonging to the victim. 

The criminals are charged with robbery combined with violence. The law provides punishment for that ranging from four to six years. Pre-trial investigation has begun and continues.
